was born and raised in Olympia. She graduated from Washington State
University in May 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She started
her government career with the U.S. Forest Service in 1992 and later
with the state of Washington in 1995. Heidi began her state career as a
Clerk Typist at the Department of Natural Resources, eventually working
her way up to Budget Manager at the Washington State Patrol. In 2014 she
was appointed by Sheriff John Snaza to the position of Senior Management
Heidi’s primary responsibility is the development, coordination, and maintenance of the Sheriff’s budget, which also includes administering grants and contracts. Heidi also manages and directs the office’s entire accounting and financial functions, and she plans, organizes, and supervises the work of assigned staff.
Heidi enjoys running marathons and ultras, hiking, traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
